When I answered in the affirmative, she identified herself by her maiden name and we caught up on each other's accomplishments and the milestones that we had respectively experienced over the years. I was pleased to hear that after graduating from the excellent Yeshiva high school where she had been my student, she had attended seminary, gone on to college and graduate school, and held a prestigious position in a major corporation. But what gave me a sense of nachas was hearing that Milana and her husband are the proud parents of a daughter and a son and that this lovely young couple is building a bayis neeman b'Yisrael. Which is precisely why Milana decided to give up her corporate position and her frenetic schedule and change careers. "I wanted to be able to spend more time at home with my family," she says. With her keen business acumen and flair for fashion, being at the helm of a women's boutique was the natural choice.
